Bill Allen

Born in Salt Lake City, Utah
Grew up in Milledgeville, GA
Lives and works in Seattle, WA

After I graduated from RISD I was a practicing artist for several years. I achieved a measure of success but for various reasons I gravitated away from the art world and wound up making a living within the world of advertising.

From 1997 to present day I've climbed the creative advertising ladder, winning a big hand full of industry awards including a Cannes Gold Lion, a Webby, One Show Gold Pencil, and SXSW Web Award for experimental projects. Through it all I've kept my eye on the art world, always thinking I would get back to it.

Over the past several years I have started working on personal art projects again in earnest. I'm now at the point where I feel confident about the work and the direction it’s going and I would like to share it with others.
